Alright, this is the weekend that we shake off our turkey comas, throw out the pumpkins and hang up the wreaths and lights. Some of us are more excited about this than others (hanging lights is my husband’s least favorite thing all year) but, hopefully, something here will inspire you whether you’re ready or not.
For those of you Christmas album fans, Carrie Underwood has a new album and I really like this song and this Meghan Trainer song is fun too. If you don’t watch the music video (it’s rather frightening) the Goo Goo Doll album sounds pretty good.
For others looking to move right past Christmas albums, there’s this song and this one too from Chris Stapleton’s newly released album.
This eggnog drink looks super yummy or if you’re looking for something a little less fruo-fruo you might try one of these cocktails. The Fireside has my vote.
Now that Christmas music is playing your cocktail is made and the lights and tree are all up…ok this may be a bit fantastical but…it’s time to start/continue shopping.
My daughter thinks we should try this or maybe that Airbnb online experiences this year. She’s talked me into it. I think it looks pretty cool.
Masterclass is running a holiday 2 for 1 special again this year, until Nov 30. If you do it, share the free one with someone from a different household. You can always share your computer with someone in your house then another whole household can share the second membership and that makes it a pretty good deal.
Or if you just want to avoid all the holiday nonsense, The Voice is back and it seems like just a normal thing to do.
